醫(yī)療特長（限400字內）：
1987年開始從事輔助生殖技術的臨床和研究工作。1989年作為團隊骨干成員協(xié)同創(chuàng)建了我院的生殖醫(yī)學中心和體外受精－胚胎移植研究室，中心以此為基礎在輔助生殖技術、生殖內分泌領域展開了一系列的工作，在國內較早建立了體外受精－胚胎移植技術并在國內率先建立了單精子卵母細胞漿內顯微注射技術和胚胎植入前遺傳學診斷技術，率先應用經陰道超聲引導下的減胎術處理早期多胎妊娠。參與指導了國內眾多的生殖中心的建設，作為衛(wèi)生部或衛(wèi)生廳專家對國內眾多中心進行了技術評審。在輔助生殖技術相關理論方面有深厚的學術積累。多年來的工作，在系列輔助生殖技術及其復雜問題的處理、生殖內分泌疾病如多囊卵巢綜合征的診治以及生殖中心的建設和管理等方面積累了豐富的經驗。近年，帶領技術團隊進一步深化胚胎植入前遺傳學診斷、生殖力的保存和保護、人胚胎干細胞建系、核移植等技術的研發(fā)，取得了實質性進展，為中心整體技術水平長期保持在國內前沿做出重大貢獻。

現任中山大學附屬第一醫(yī)院副院長，婦產科學生殖醫(yī)學首席科學家、學術帶頭人。是中華醫(yī)學會第二屆生殖醫(yī)學分會主任委員，現任廣東省醫(yī)學會生殖醫(yī)學分會主任委員、中華醫(yī)學會第五屆全國計劃生育專科學會委員、廣東省醫(yī)學會婦產科分會委員。國家重點實驗室評選專家、生殖醫(yī)學國家重點實驗室建設期學術委員會委員、廣東省醫(yī)學重點專科（生殖醫(yī)學）學科帶頭人、《中國實用婦科與產科雜志》副主編、《中華婦產科雜志》和《生殖醫(yī)學》雜志的編委等。
