The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University donated the second batch of much-needed medical supplies for COVID-19 prevention and control to Dominica on September 9th, to help the country to tackle a new wave of the epidemic caused by the Delta variant. This donation includes masks and rapid antigen test kits. The hospital had given the first batch to Dominica during the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 and shared China’s practical experience in fighting the virus. It is also worth mentioning that Dr. WU Dexi, Associate Professor of Cardiology and member of the medical team from Guangdong to Dominica, has been appointed as a member of Dominica International Health Regulation (IHR) to provide medical guidance. ?????
