From April 19 to 21, the 3rd Southern International Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Conference was held in Guangzhou. During the conference, the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Alliance of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was established. Professor Chen Chuangqi from Gastrointestinal Surgery Center was elected as the first Chairman.
