Biography
Professor An is the doctoral supervisor of department of anesthesiology, and also the member of Guangdong medical association for the study of pain. He had done researches in the University of Pennsylvania in 2013-2014. He had been engaged in the clinical experience, teaching and research on Anesthesiology for more than 23 years, awarded and presided 2 scientific research grants, one from National Natural Science Foundation of China and another from the Doctoral Program of the Ministry of Education?of China, and also educated 4 candidates Master of Med. He is specialized in the clinical anesthesia of cardiovascular surgery, orthopedics surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, neurosurgery, general surgery, pediatrics surgery and so on, especially in the research on the mechanism and treatment of pain and the neurotoxicity of peripheral nerve block. Meanwhile, he has published many high-level research papers in the national and international academic journals (14 in SCI retrieval systems), such as Anaesthesia, European Journal of Pain, PLoS One, Stem Cell Int. and so on.
