Biography
Professor Xu, as one of the core leaders in department of anesthesiology, has involved in clinical anesthesia and critical care medicine career for over 30 years. He?is mainly engaged in clinical anesthesia of cardiac surgery, craniocerebral surgery, liver transplantation, and so on.Professor Xu is mainly focus on the research of perioperative organ protection, especially in the area of postoperative pain, neurotoxicity, and painless gastroscope.Professor Xu served as abundant of social affiliations, such as Sun yat-senuniversity teaching steering committee members, jury of natural science foundation of guangdong province, expert of Guangdong medical accident appraisal committee. Professor Xu has published over 30 articles in famous medical journals. His doctoral thesis has won the first prize of QiuFazu medical thesis.Professor Xu treats research work seriously. He has directed more than 20 scientific research projects, range from national to university. Due to his great contribution, he has awarded “Qianbaishiprojiect” great talent of Guangdong.
