Biography
Prof. Chen Yong Graduated from the Department of Medicine, former Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1987 and was conferred upon Master of Medicine in Oncology Radiotherapy. Since 1987, he worked?in the Radiation Oncology of Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, engaging himself in medical treatment, scientific research and teaching oncology radiotherapy for about 30 years, accumulating abundant clinical experiences in oncology radiotherapy and combination therapy.?
He has been working in Radiation Oncology at The First Affiliated Hospital,?Sun Yat-sen University, since May 2017. He specializes in radiotherapy for nasopharynx carcinoma, head and neck cancer and prostate cancer.?He has published more than ten SCI papers as the lead author or corresponding author on mainstream journals including. Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys,?Scientific Reports, Cancer,?Tumor Biology,?BMC Cancer, etc.?He was in charge of two?projects of Science and Technology Planning Project of Guangdong Province.?
