Dr. Yugang Dong, the Ph.D supervisor; the Director of the Department of Cardiology, the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen university; the Director of Key Laboratory of Assisted Circulation, Ministry of Health; the deputy director of Heart Failure Group, Chinese Medical Association; the deputy director of Antiarrhythmic Agent Group, Chinese Medical Association; the chief commissioner of Guangdong Society of Cardiology, Guangdong Medical Association; the commissioner of Chinese society of Cardiology, Chinese Medical Association; the commissioner of Chinese society of Pacing and Electrophysiology, Chinese Medical Association; the member of standing committee of CCCP (Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians); the associate chief commissioner of Guangdong College of Cardiovascular Physicians; the director of Hypertension Group, Guangdong College of Cardiovascular Physicians; the member of standing committee of Guangdong society of Pacing and Electrophysiology.?

Dr. Dong is the editorial board member of a lot of Journals, including Chinese Journal of Cardiology, Acta Scientiarum Naturalium Universitatis Sunyatseni, Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology, Journal of Clinical Cardiology and South China Journal of Cardiology. Dr. Dong achieved six National Natural Science Foundation, more than ten provincial and municipal funds, and has published over 100 articles (more than 30 SCI papers). In 2016, Dr. Dong was awarded the second prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress (the first awardee).
