Biography
Dr. Chen is an associate professor of Urology at the Sun Yat-Sen University School of Medicine, Guangdong, China. He obtained his MD degree from Tongji Medcial school of HUST, Wuhan, in 2006, and finished his PhD thesis in biomedical studies at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Chen’s research focus is on the molecular pathogenesis and clinical treatment strategy of urological malignant diseases, BPH and stone diseases.
More specifically, his work has had a particular emphasis on translational implications, which already published on several famous journals such as Cancer Research and Clinical Cancer Research. As a principal investigator, Dr. Chen has received continuous government funding from NSFC and GDSTC as PI or project leader since 2012.
