Biography
Professor Luo Junhang specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Urologic diseases, especially in the area of urinary tumor (renal?tumor, bladder tumor, prostate tumor, adrenal tumor, etc.) and urinary congenital malformation (ureteropelvic junction obstruction, congenital megacolon）?via da Vinci Surgical System and laparoscopy. Through more than 20 years of clinical work, Prof. Luo has gained rich experience in the?minimally invasive surgery and precision treatment of these diseases. In the scientific research area, his 23 articles about tumor research (first author/corresponding author) have been published on famous journals in the recent 5 years, including Lancet Oncology, Nature Communications, Oncogene and so on, among which the highest impact factor is 33.9. Remarkably, Prof. Luo acquired ?the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and became the Chief Expert of the National Key Research &Development Plan: Renal Tumor Precision Medicine Project respectively in 2017 and 2016. Prof. Luo participated in the edit of many Urologic textbooks and is the vice chairman of Youth Council of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association. Many reputational prizes have been awarded to his clinical?research, including Second Class Prizes of The State Scientific and Technological Progress Award and First Class Prizes of Chinese Medical Science Award.
