Biography
Dr.Yan Xiong, MD, PhD,?associate chief physician, associate professor and postgraduate mentor in Emergency Medicine. She has been working in the Department of Emergency Medicine for nearly 20 years since she?graduated?from Sun Yat-sen medical school?in July 1997.?She is the vice chair?of Emergency and Disaster Response Committee of China Association of Healthcare Management, member of Emergency Response Committee of International Communication＆Promotion Association of China Healthcare, council member of chest pain association in Guangdong Province, member of Emergency physician Committee of Medical Doctor Association in Guangdong Province.
Dr.?Yan Xiong worked as a research fellow and visiting scholar at Dallas Fort-Worth research site of Resuscitation Outcomes Consortium in University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for two years and is an active?investigator in clinical resuscitation?research. As first author or corresponding author, she has more than 30 publications in academic journals including Resuscitation, International Journal of Cardiology, Journal of China Emergency Medicine, etc.
