Biography
Professor?Ruan,?Director of Acupuncture Department,Supervisor of postgraduate, Associate director of the teaching and research section of traditional Chinese Medicine, mainly engaged in clinic,teaching and scientific research work of acupuncture and moxibustion. He specialized in acupuncture treatment of chronic insomnia,pain syndrome and nervous system diseases etc. The research of electro-acupuncture on governor meridian to treat spinal cord injury and chronic insomnia obtained great achievements. Professor Ruan presided over a number of national and provincial projects and has published more than 60 SCI and core papers. The development of digital insomnia therapeutic instrument obtained one national patents. Professor Ruan holds a post as a managing director of Guangdong Acupuncture Association, Guangdong Traditional Chinese medicine and Western Medicine Association and Guangdong Rehabilitation Medicine Association. He is also a member of the standing committee at Chinese and Western medicine Specialized Committee of Chinese Rehabilitation Medicine Association.
