Dr. Chen graduated cum laude from Sun Yat-sen University as a Ph. D.. During the Ph.D. candidate, he was supported by the China Scholarship Council to Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University for joint Ph.D. training.

Dr. Chen stayed and completed her general surgical training, clinical fellowship, as well as clinical fellowship in General Surgery in The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University. And now he is an associate chief physician of Department of Pancreaticobiliary Surgery.

Biography

Chen Wei M.D, Ph.D. focuses on hepatobiliary-pancreatic oncology. He has published 54 research papers, of which four papers are working as the first author or correspondence author. And he published two books as chief editor and editor. He also has a utility patent about suture instrument in laparoscope.

He is the Standing Committee Member of Youth Committee of the Biliary Tumor Specialist Committee of Guangdong Province Cancer Society, and the fellow of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Society of Anticancer Society Biliary Tumor Specialist Committee, Youth Committee of the Robotic Surgery Committee of Chinese Medical Doctoral Association Surgeon Branch.?
