Biography

Professor Chen, Chief Physician, Ph.D＆MD, master tutor, is the dean of teaching-research section of Disaster Medicine, is now the head of Department of Colorectal Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He is Chairman of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Branch of Guangdong Medical Doctor Association. He?is also a standing committee member of Colorectal Surgery Branch and a committee member of Gastrointestinal Surgery Branch of Guangdong Medical Association. He is the editorial member of Chinese Journal of Biomedical Engineering, Journal of Digestive Oncology, etc.?

He has published over 50 papers, among which, the basic and clinical research to improve the surgical curative effect of gastric cancer was awarded the Second Prize of Science and Technology Advance by Guangdong Province Government, the research on the preserving anal and nervous operation of rectal cancer to improve the patients’ quality of life was awarded the First Prize of Science and Technology Advance by Guangdong Province Government. Chen Chuangqi is not only good at his own subject, but also show his talent in other field and obtain an utility patent of a kind of prepuce circumcision anastomoses device. At the same time, he didn’t despised the teaching quality and consider that as an important work, and due to his rigorous attitude, he was continuously awarded Outstanding Teacher for 4 years.
