Song has presided or participated in many items including National Natural Science Foundation (NNSF),The Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province(NSFGP), Science and Technology Planning Project of Guangdong Province(STPGP) and Major Science and Technology Project of Guangzhou(MSTGZ). He now have more than three million yuan scientific research fund. He had published about forty papers on medical journals, fifteen of them were collected by Science Citation Index. Furthermore, as the first author, one of his articles was collected by the Lancet Oncology in 2013(IF=24.7).
