Biography
Prof. Huang is a renowned experts in the field of rehabilitation medicine. He has over 40 years of experience in providing rehabilitation for neurological conditions, orthopedic and prosthetic conditions and multiple complex injuries. His clinical specialties are motor dysfunction, speech and swallowing disorders, incontinence management, geriatric care, stroke, inflammatory joint diseases, and knee and foot deformities.
His research interest include neurological rehabilitation, joint disorders rehabilitation, prosthetics and orthoses, and rehabilitation in complex critical injuries.
He is the director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Rehabilitation; Director of the Asia division of the International Exchange Committee for International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine; Executive director and Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Vice President of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association Rehabilitation for Physician division. He is the leading clinical specialist in establishing the National Health Planning Commission Neuro Rehabilitation Training Centre; head of Guangdong Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security Postdoctoral Innovation Program; director of Guangdong Innovation Alliance for Rehabilitation Industrial Technology and so on. He was several honorary recognitions for his outstanding work in the field of rehabilitation, including his contribution in the national earthquake and innovation in neurological conditions.?
