Biography

Dr. Peng Baogang is professor, PhD supervisor and director of Department of Hepatic Surgery. He obtained his M.D and Ph.D in 1984 and 1997 respectively. He is skillful at difficult hepatectomy and pancreatoduodenectomy and robot-assisted operation for liver and pancreatic cancer. Dr. Peng focuses his attention on the clinical and basic research on hepatocellular carcinoma. He has undertaken more than 20 research grants, including 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China, 5 Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province etc. He has achieved the second and third prize of Science and Technology Progress in Guangdong. In addition, Dr. Peng has published more than 30 SCI papers as first author or corresponding author.?
