Biography
Dr. Ye obtained her medical bachelor degrees and doctoral degrees from the Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU). She also completed her residency and clinical fellowship training at SYSU. She has been on the faculty of The First Affiliated Hospital of SYSU since 1998 and became a chief physician in January 2017. She is a mentor of postgraduate-medical student. She worked as a visiting scholar in Southwestern Medical Center of Texas University in USA from 2011 to 2013. She is also an academic member of the Chinese Youth Rheumatology Association and Guangdong Association of the Integration of Traditional and Western Medicine. For the past 20 years, Dr. Ye has devoted herself to work on the treatment of various autoimmune diseases, especially Rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Systemic lupus erythematosus, Gout and Vasculitis. Her most recent researches have focused on the pathophysiology and novel treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis and Systemic lupus erythematosus. Dr. Ye has been involved in 15 scientific projects and in charge of 6 grants. She has published more than 50 papers, among them 24 were indexed by SCI. She has been one of the editors of 5 monographs.
