Dr. Dong Chen is professor in pancreato-biliary surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital, SUMS. He is also member of several Chinese Medical Societies including the Youth Committee of Chinese Medical Association in the field of Biliary Surgery.
Dr. Chen majors in the surgical treatment of Hepatocellular carcinoma, Hilar cholangiocarcinoma, Pancreatic carcinoma and Hepatolithiasis. His basic research interest focus on the molecular mechanism of Hepatocellular carcinoma and Biliary Tract Cancer. He has published more than 30 SCI papers in peer-reviewed journals, e.g. BMC cancer, EJSO, BJS, J Surg Res, J Dig Dis. Dr. Chen has got 3 major grants from the government, such as National Natural Science Foundation and Natural fund of Guangdong Province.
