Biography

Dr. Huang received his bachelor and master degree of seven-year program of clinical medicine in 2008 as well as his Ph.D. degree in 2011 at the Sun Yat-sen University. He received his surgical training at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from 2011 and joined the faculty there in 2013, rising to the rank of Associated Professor of Surgery in 2016. He served as instructor of the college of basic surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital from 2016.

Dr. Huang has been admitted as member of Youth Committee at the biliary tract cancer branch of Guangdong Province Anti-Cancer Association, member of the multidisciplinary treatment committee of Guangdong Provincial Association of Liver Diseases and as member of molecular targeted therapy of Cancer prevention and Management Branch, Guangdong Provincial Hospital Association. He also has been admitted as international member of The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) since 2015.

Dr. Huang's clinical research interests are in hepatobiliary, pancreatic and splenic diseases, especially liver cancer and biliary tract cancer. His bibliography lists over 20 journal articles and 2 book chapters. He has spoken nationally and internationally on academic occasions.
