Dr. Li specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neonatal diseases, especially in neonatal infectious diseases, neonatal jaundice, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, premature infants and neonatal respiratory care. She has been working on and gained lots of experience in assessment growth and development and early intervention of high-risk infants. Her current focus in clinical work is how to inprove the survival rate and prognosis of premature infants.

Dr. Li obtained her Bachelor in Medicine at Shanghai Second Medical University, P. R. China in 1987. She continued with her post-graduate training and obtained her Master of pediatric neonatology at Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in 1993 and Doctor degree of Pediatric Endocrinology at Sun Yat-Sen University in 2009.
