Biography

Professor Bihui Zhong is the director of Department of Infectious Diseases, the deputy director?of Department of Gastroenterology?and the director of Department of Gastroenterology (Huangpu branch). Besides, she is the leader of multidisciplinary team for fatty liver disease. She?was recognized as 'Eminent Doctor in Guangdong Province" for two consecutive years (2015~2016) and won the “Famous Doctor in Guangzhou” distinction in 2016.

Professor Zhong was promoted to the member of Hepatobiliary branch of Chinese Medical Association of Gastroenterology and Digestive diseases?branch of Chinese Medical Association of Gerontology. Furthermore, she is the deputy director of Guangdong Medical Association of Hepatology and the vice chairman of Hepatobiliary branch of Guangdong Province Health Management Society.

Professor Zhong has been taking charge of several national and?provincial scientific research topics in recent years. She has published many research papers, especially the one in the famous magazine named Hepatology in 2009. Dr. Zhong participated in developing clinical guidelines, including The Clinical Diagnosis and Assessment of Hepatitis B-related Cirrhosis and Integrated Management of Antiviral Therapy, Guidelines for Prevention and Treatment of Fatty Liver Disease in China, etc. Moreover, she was also involved in writing medical monographs, such as Chinese Geriatric Medicine.?
