Biography
As deputy director of Department of Laboratory Medicine, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, I am responsible for the management and day-to-day operation of Molecular Diagnostics. I am engaged in developing and evaluating new and improved molecular diagnostic testing procedures. As a master tutor, I guide graduate students to develop and evaluate new molecular diagnostic testing procedures and study the mechanism of pathogens resistance. I have acquired several grants from the government to perform clinical researches on molecular diagnosis and the mechanisms of resistant gene horizontal transfer of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
