Biography
Prof. Gu engaged in thoracic surgery clinical and scientific research work for nearly 30 years. He was trained by advanced studies in Germany and Finland from 2000 to 2002. ?Specialized in the complex thoracic wall deformity, the congenital lung disease, the mediastinum tumor, the diagnosis and treatment of complicated esophageal and lung disease. Professor Gu treat lung cancer, esophageal cancer, thymic tumor, pneumothorax, thoracic wall deformity by thoracoscopic surgery and ?minimally invasive surgical technology which make patients recover faster. In the past years, he has gained five research funds and has published about ten articles in international SCI journals. He is Director of VIP Medical Center and was Vice President of Hainan Sanya People’s Hospital, accumulated a wealth of clinical and hospital management experience.
