Biography

Dr. Chen's career over the past 20 years has focused on adult and pediatric thyroid disorders, with an emphasis on hyperthyroidism, thyroid cancer and thyroid nodules. ?Procedures include radioiodine treatment for hyperthyroidism and thyroid cancer. Additionally, Dr. Chen has had extensive involvement with internal medicine and psychology, including mental health status and factors that will influence the course of Graves' disease and antithyroid treatments.?

Dr. Chen has recently done outcome research for radioiodine therapy in children and adolescents with Graves' disease.

Dr. Chen also has many publications in peer-reviewed journals.
