Biography
Professor Xu has obtained remarkable achievements in clinical and basic research in the field of rhinologic surgery and diagnosis and treatment in allergic rhinitis. She serves as specialist director of department of allergy of Otorhinolaryngology Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. She ?graduated from the Department of clinical medicine, Zhongshan Medical University in 1992. In 1999 and in 2006, she received a master's and doctoral degree from the Zhongshan University . She has been engaged in the clinical work of Otolaryngology since 1992. She served as a clinical doctor in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and neck surgery, Prince of Wales Hospital, Chinese University Hong Kong in 2002, and accumulated a wealth of clinical experience.?
Now She serves as member of the Allergy Branch of Chinese Medical Association , member of Standing Committee of Allergy?Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Assocication, vice chairman of allergy branch Guangdong Medical Association. In 2004, she was engaged in head and neck cancer research at the PITTSBURGH Cancer Research Center in the United States for 1 and a half years.?She was early engaged in the study of cytokines in the pathogenesis of nasal polyps and the infiltration mechanism of eosinophils in nasal polyps in China.?
She has published more than 20 First-authored and/or corresponding-authored articles in SCI-Indexed Journals and Chinese Journals, including《Journal of Laryngology and Otology》,《Chinese Medical Journal》,《Am J Allery》,《Int Forum Allergy Rhinol.》,《Eur Arch Otorhinolaryngo》,《Acta Oto-laryngologica》,《ORL》,《Int J cancer》,《Chinese Journal of Otorhinolaryngology》and so on. She has presided over and participated in a number of provincial and ministerial level funds and National Natural Science Foundations.
