Biography
Li Xunhua, completing internal medicine and neurologic residency in our hospital, has been working in the neurogenetics consulting room formore than 30 years. Sheis interested in the diagnosis, genetic counseling and therapy of Wilson disease (WD), spinal cerebella ataxias (SCAs), hereditary spasm paraplegia and hereditary dystonia disease. In recent years, she has focused on the exploration of pathogenic pathways in worsening of WD neurogologic symptoms after taking penicillamineand the non-ataxia symptoms of SCAs. She has published more than 20 peer reviewed articles in the past 5 years. Now Dr Li is a member of neuropathology and neurogenetics subgroups in neurologic branch of Chinese Medical Association.
