Biography
Prof. Zeng Jinsheng is the vice president of the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University and the director of the neurological department. He?is?honored as the distinguished professor of Pearl River Scholar in Guangdong Province. Now he is the chair member of Chinese?Society for Stroke Prevention and Management, vice chairman of Chinese Neurological Association, chairman of Guangdong Neurological Association and head of the group for cerebrovascular diseases in this?association. He?is the editor in chief of Chinese Journal of Nervous and Mental diseases, and also the editor and contributing reviewer of many domestic and international?peer reviewed journals in neurological fields.
Prof. Zeng is mainly engaging inacute treatment, rehabilitation and?prevention?of stroke, especially in?neural plasticity and secondary degeneration following stroke. He has undertaken and completed more than 30 research projects including the?National?Basic?Research?Program?of?China?(973project), Natural Science Foundation of China, and so on. He has published 336 articles, including 102 in peer reviewed international journals and edited 40 books or?chapters.
