Biography
In 2011, Dr. Zhang Jian completed his M.D. and Ph.D, and started to work at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. During 2017 and 2019, he worked as a research scholar at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in the United States. His researches mainly focus on the molecular mechanisms underlying secondary neurodegeneration after ischemic stroke. He is the author of more than 20 scientific publications and presides over grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong province, and the Medical Science Foundation of Guangdong Province.
