Professor Wang Haijun, Director of Neurosurgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, serves as a pioneer in many fields of neurosurgery. He twice became director of the Neurosurgery branch of Guangdong Provincial medical doctor association and Deputy Director of China pituitary adenoma specialist council (CPASC).?
He is a distinguished doctor who performed over 250 fourth level operations a year. He is famed for the low severe complication rate of less than 0.3%. The surgical efficacy of pituitary adenoma has reached the world's advanced level. He uses new technology to treat complex intracranial tumors, which has produced remarkable efficacy.?
He builds the first MDT of pituitary adenomas in Southern China. His basic and clinical research on pituitary adenoma has won a second prize for the national science and technology award nominated by the ministry of education.?
He has published more than 10 SCI papers, and has received a total of more than 5,200,000 research funding.
