Biography

He has been working on clinical kidney transplantation (KTx) for 13 years. He has extraordinary surgical skills and performs around 80 cases of kidney transplantation?each year. He has outstanding expertise in kidney transplantation for uremic children and KTx from pediatric donors. He has very successful experience in the management?of post-transplant complications, including?urine leakage, ureterostenosis, rejection, infection and metabolism disorders. He has put much effort on the personalization of immunosuppressive regimens to minimize drug-related side effects. He had abundant research?experience in establishing kidney transplantation model in rodents to investigate the underlying mechanism and therapeutic strategies of acute rejection?and chronic rejection.

He is a member of Guangdong Urological and Reproductive Association. His research?interests include pediatric kidney transplantation, personalization of immunosuppressive?regimens, deceased organ evaluation and transplant application, and post-transplant nephropathy. He has published numbers of articles in academic journals including Am J Nephrology, Int J Clin Prac, Pediatric Transplant,?and?Transpl Immunol, etc. ?
