Biography
Prof. Mao is vice director of Nephrology Department at The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University. She is a committee member of Guangdong Medical Doctor Association of Nephrology. ??
Mainly focus on peritoneal dialysis, RASI and peritoneum function in peritoneal dialysis, mechanism of HSP72 in regulating renal fibrosis, autophagy in renal tubular cells and renal fibrosis.
Published 48 SCI peer-reviewed papers, including JASN, Autophagy, JBC, Am J Pathol, and so on. A PI of 16 grants including National Natural Science Foundation of China.
