Biography
Professor Xu, Chief physician, director of postgraduate, used to be arranged to work in the primary hospitals since 1988 when he started working. From 2002-2004, he was selected to participate in supportive work to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as a key member of youth doctors and had outstanding performance which got highly praises of the local leaders and patients. Besides, he met lots of severe and complicated cases and accumulated abundant clinical experience and skills. Because of these, he is good at dealing with difficult and severe diseases in gynecology.
Professor Xu's current work is focused on endometriosis and reproductive disorders. He's skilled in various kinds of laparoscopic operations of gynecological diseases, including myomectomy, adenomyomectomy, hysterectomy, oophorocystectomy especially excision of ovarian chocolate cyst and pelvic endometriosis, and hysteroscopic operations including resection of septum, electroexcision of myoma, adhesiolysis and so on. In addition, he also works on operative therapies for infertility, including laparoscopic pelvic adhesiolysis, tubal reconstruction,and tubal recanalization under hysteroscope combined with laparoscope. He specializes in uterus reservation of laparoscopic giant myomectomy and adenomyomectomy, and severe pelvic adhesiolysis. Professor Xu had over 30 papers published, 4 of which were accepted by SCI, and participated in the writing of the monograph Gynecologic Oncology.
