On June 19, 2020, a virtual meeting on health informatics and data science program was held by The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, UC Davis, CITRIS and Lingnan Foundation.

The program includes joint training courses (summer institute), joint research and health data platform development. The first online training course on “International Clinical Research and Precision Medicine” is expected to take place in August.?

The cooperation on data science is yet another highlight for the hospital’s partnership with UC Davis in addition to the current international robotic training center initiative. And it will be of great significance to medical innovation and the development of medical science and technology.
