A study on the effectiveness of personal protective equipment for frontline healthcare professionals in Wuhan during the COVID-19 pandemic was published in the British Medical Journal (the BMJ) on June 10, 2020. The study was designed and completed jointly by a team of researchers from Sun Yat-sen University, China; Southern Medical University, China and the University of Birmingham, UK.?
