Introduction?

The Department of Thoracic Surgery(DTS) is one of the most specialist thoracic diseases treatment department in China. DTS provides minimally invasive surgery to treat lung cancer, esophageal cancer, thymic tumor and other thoracic diseases. DTS receives over 2300 patients annually, and the surgical amount reaches over 1000.

Clinical Services

Surgery: Lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mediastinum tumor, myasthenia gravis, pulmonary bullae,，bronchiectasis disease,，pulmonary vascular abnormalities, funnel chest and other thoracic diseases. (thoracoscopic surgical technology)

Chemotherapy and Targeted therapy: Lung cancer , Esophageal cancer, Malignant thymoma

The Department of Thoracic Surgery has 2 doctoral tutors and 5 postgraduate tutors. Annually, DTS recruits 3 to 4 postgraduate students. DTS has cultivated many specialist doctors of thoracic surgery since established in 2005.
